How we work — in writing
Most agencies describe their process in adjectives. We publish ours as rules you can hold us to. This is the actual playbook every AppMasonTech engagement follows.
01 Estimating & pricing
We estimate components, not vibes
Every quote is built bottom-up: your requirement is decomposed into screens, data entities, integrations and infrastructure, each with a known effort. No finger-in-the-air numbers.
The buffer is in the price, not your invoice
Software has unknowns. We price a risk buffer into the fixed quote — so when something takes longer, that's our problem, not a surprise invoice.
Discounts cut scope, never quality
If the quote exceeds your budget, we remove features together until it fits. We never quietly cut testing or polish to hit a number.
We say no to bad projects
If we believe an idea won't work, or someone else can do it better or cheaper, we say so before you spend money. A "no" today beats a failed project next quarter.
02 Building
Working software every week
Every week you see the real product running — clickable, on a link or your phone. Progress you can verify beats progress reports.
Nothing ships red
Every backend carries an automated test suite, and a release with failing tests does not go out. Ever. This single rule prevents most of the disasters agencies apologize for.
AI accelerates; engineers decide
We use state-of-the-art AI development tooling for speed — and senior engineering judgment for architecture, review and hardening. The AI drafts; a human owns every line that ships.
Security is a default, not an add-on
Rate limiting, input sanitization, upload validation, security headers, least-privilege access — the same hardening this very website runs is baked into everything we deliver.
Changes are welcome — and written down
Small tweaks flow through weekly demos. Bigger changes get a short written estimate you approve before work starts. Nothing appears on an invoice you didn't agree to.
03 Delivering & after
You own everything
On final payment you receive the complete source code, documentation, credentials and deployment setup. Any competent developer could take over tomorrow — that's by design.
Launch is a checklist, not a hope
Production deployment, SSL, monitoring, store submissions, handover docs — a written checklist we walk through together, so nothing is left to memory.
30 days of free support, then your choice
Every launch includes 30 days of fixes at no cost. After that: a monthly care plan, or take it fully in-house. No lock-in, no pressure.
If we slip, you hear it from us first
Delays happen in software. Our rule is that you learn about a risk from us, early, with a plan — never from a missed deadline.
Hold us to it.
